Wednesday~2 Timothy 3:1-17

Okay ~ today I have an excuse for being slow..... I was up late making Makenna's TuTu for her 1st birthday party!
Today's reading was eye opening. So unbelievable that everything we are reading about this week was in some way touched on Sunday morning. The reading began talking about the last days and perilous time. I looked up perilous because I was not so sure... Mr. Webster said: dangerous, hazardous, hopeless, chancy, haphazard and random... then it began to talk it OUR men. And not just "men" but our "Godly men" turning away from God and being crazy. Even when they knew better. So here we go ladies. We have a job to be praying for our fathers, brothers, sons and especially our husbands. 2Tim 3:15 ...and that from childhood you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus!

Wow - you are so right. I have been feeling that for a while now. If we only realized how important our praying for them was we would do it more often. We can't just hope they will be ok - they need affirmation from us and prayer. Ant I love the tutu. Is the theme "Princess"??? You'll have to show me how to get a picture on the post too - that's cool.

LOVE the tutu!! She will be fabulous in it, I'm sure. =)

I was amazed at how 2 Timothy describes our current day... boastful, proud, love themselves and their money, disobedient, ungrateful, consider nothing sacred, unloving and unforgiving, no self control, love pleasure rather than God. It's like Timothy is reading our book entitled "America - 2009". We are surely in the last days.

We do need to pray for the men in our lives! Amen to that. A good reminder.
