Thursday ~2 Timothy 4:1 -22
Lots to think about today, but nothing we have not heard over and over. 2 Tim. 4:2 Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season! ~ Always being prepared 24/7. You never know when or where that perfect opportunity is going to arise to share the Gospel. It was also interesting in verse 3 and 4ish ~ that people will begin to turn away from truth and lean towards fables just to hear what they want to hear. Understanding that we should be ready with the truth. Wow ~ more encouragement to remain in Gods word and learn. As a ladies cell one time we practiced sharing the Gospel with each other. It was so amazing. I think we all got saved again! We knew what was in our heart. Practice makes perfect. I get all warm and thankful just thinking about all God had done in my life and my husband and children's life. When I think about that, it makes me more than ever want to share with others to make sure they know what they are missing out on, without Christ in their life. Easter Sunday is coming up. What a perfect time! :0) To really think about Jesus dying for us..... all he did for us hummmm .... that someone loved ME/US that much.hummmm .... (I feel prayer time coming on....) wow ~~ God presence is so so good! ;0)

That was great. I woke up this morning also thinking about who I can ask for Easter Sunday. It is such a great opportunity and an easy invite! I am praying I have opportunities with both of the ladies I have in mind. And that they say yes and COME!!!
Sarah.... have you ever heard of resurrection cookies? It is the coolest! One year I did this with my kids....it really helps teach them and it is fun. Here is a website if you want to look it up. Several of you all have little ones that would like this. http://www.annieshomepage.com/resurrectioncookies.html
Thanks, I'll check it out ~ never heard of them before. Sometimes my cookies need to be resurrected! So this could be good. =)
I love the "buts" in the Bible. My New Living Translation goes from verse 4 "they will reject the truth and chase after myths." to verse 5 "BUT, you should keep a clear mind in every situation. Don't be afraid of suffering for the Lord. Work at telling others the Good News, and full carry out the ministry God has given you." Wow - that "but" verse is the one for me. What a challenge to do that verse. I feel like the Lord is giving it to me for the Philippines!!! 1. Keep a clear mind in every situation. 2. Don't be afraid of suffering for the Lord. 3. Work at telling others the Good News. 4. FULLY carry out the ministry God has given you.
That is enough to propel me into the trip.
