“Sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never harm me.” Remember that childhood ditty? It couldn’t be further from the truth! Broken bones heal a lot faster than wounds from words.
James 3:5 – "...the tongue is a small thing, but what enormous damage it can do.”
Proverbs 18:21 (NLT) – “Those who love to talk will experience the consequences, for the tongue can kill or nourish life.”

Let the words of our mouths bring honor and glory to our heavenly Father and encouragement, edification, and nourish the lives of those around us.
