Tuesday~ 2 Timothy 2: 1-26
Good Morning.....So now you all know I am a procrastinator! That is why taking the challenge of Blogging this week is good for me. One to strengthen me spiritually and the other to say "I can do this!" So many good reminders in the chapter. Who doesn't struggle with people! We have those around us that lift us up and others that always remain a thorn in our side. To see that Gods has instruction for this. Woo Hoo! It really spoke to me about being around people who you benefit from being around. That you don't have to remain around the people who tear you down and keep you from doing and being all God wants for your life. That you can say "I am out of here!" One of my favorite sayings has always been "Rise and Shine". So cool to see how many time this type of thinking is in Gods word. To pursue righteousness, faith, love, peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart! ( 2Tim 1:22) To know that God supports us and will help us discern situations and people that are against Him and not for Him. It is harder when they are people in authority over us or I think worst of all, family members that are hurtful, mean and revengeful! But knowing that we are to avoid foolish and ignorant disputes! (Not always easy! ) So that is why if you really struggle with issues....... come and see Angela in the Boundaries class on Wednesday nights at 7:00! Amen!

Awesome post once again, Kim. I whole heartedly agree with everything.
The part that struck me the most is verse 10 - I will endure anything if it will bring salvation and eternal life to those God has chosen. It reminds me of Sunday's message. We are in the last days and we should live like it. I have tons of excuses of why I can't share the gospel in this situation or that situation. But I should have NONE! Our days are short and nothing matters but getting the "WORD" out there. Timothy was enduring chains and other terrible things. I experience nothing like that when I share the gospel. Just a little rejection sometimes. Who cares? Timothy would probably laugh at me. If not cry. Imagine what God is doing.
