Well, this is the final chapter of Ephesians. I get so much out of this book every time I read it. Next week we will read Philippians - the book on Joy and Contentment - OR - ATTITUDE!!!

The verses in this chapter that equip us to live this life in freedom and peace are 10 thru 20. Here was Paul, in chains, in prison and talking about armor. Verses 10 & 11 are the keys to this armor - "Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on all of God's armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil." All of the armor - that is so important - every part of you needs protection. As you read this apply it to your life as you see fit. Apply God's peace to your feet - carrying it wherever you go - stand your ground with truth around you as a belt of righteousness - hold up your faith in God to shield you from those darts the enemy tosses your way - have your mind "saved" with that helmet on your head keeping your mind pure - and know the Word of God so your sword will be sharp!!!
