Hi, y'all,
I read the chapters in Lev. for today (Thursday), and found out again all about what the Israelites could and couldn't eat. The one thing on there I would miss would be shrimp, and possibly pork. However, Jesus said it's not what goes into the mouth that is harmful, but what comes out of it. When I finished reading, I asked the Lord to speak to me about anything He had in mind for me this morning, and He led me to the last two chapters of Job. It's all about the Hippopotamas and the Crocodile, both which are extremely difficult to capture and impossible to tame. God said we should not try, just let Him take care of the impossible situations in our life.
The amazing thing is that when I got on my computer to see if anyone emailed us that early in he morning, David Wilkerson's daily word was already there (at 7 a.m.) and guess what he wrote about: The Hippo and the Crocodile from the last two chapters of Job! Well, I got the impression that the Lord wants me to know He is ALL powerful and wants to take care of any impossible situation in my life, because, obviously, I can't. So, again I asked Him about the property next door to KKV which the owner is asking over 2 million dollars, and I said, "God, it's totally up to you, because I have NO IDEA how it can be done."
So, folks, excuse me for not talking about the Leviticus chapters, but hope you got something out of what I gleaned from two sources: David Wilkerson, and above all, God Himself!

Thanks, Pastor Elanor. I also read something else this morning, Isaiah 45, in addition to Leviticus. This chapter tells over and over about the greatness and sovereignty of God. What stuck out to me was, "For I am God, there is no other." Lord help us to get it!
