Purpose Under Full Warranty

What an encouragement these verses bring regarding the purpose God has for us!

"What God did in this case made it perfectly plain that His purpose is not a hit-or-miss thing dependent on what we do or don't do, but a sure thing determined by His decision, flowing steadily from His initiative." Romans 9:12

"God's gifts and God's call are under full warranty -- never canceled, never rescinded." Romans 11:29
(following such a great passage on being grafted - and sometimes re-grafted - into God)

I'm so grateful that God is so faithful, even when I'm faithless.
That His words don't flutter lifelessly to the ground even when I'm crumpled there.

That even when I'm broken, His warranty is still good.


And so...

"... I'll wait as long as He says. Everything I need comes from Him, so why not?" (Psalm 62:1)
