“I have never lived in a house, from the day I brought the Israelites out of Egypt until this very day. I have always moved from one place to another with a tent and a Tabernacle as my dwelling.” (2 Samuel 7:6)
God’s presence is no longer confined to a tent or a building! God’s Holy Spirit lives in me . . . in every person who professes Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. God is unchangeable but He is mobile . . . never leaving us or forsaking us!
“Don’t you realize that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and was given to you by God? You do not belong to yourself . . .” (1 Cor. 6:19 NLT)
This verse is so powerful in the Message Bible . . .
“Or didn't you realize that your body is a sacred place, the place of the Holy Spirit? Don't you see that you can't live however you please, squandering what God paid such a high price for? The physical part of you is not some piece of property belonging to the spiritual part of you. God owns the whole works. So let people see God in and through your body.” (1 Cor. 6:19 Message Bible)

That's so great about God... He's mobile. i love that!
and that verse in the Message Bible trans is very convicting, wow, really brings it home. speaks to me about remembering that God & Jesus paid a very high price for my body as well. and that not squandering it can be a testimony. something i know i need to keep focused on.
